## v1 — October 2026
- Added workspace and employee read endpoints.
- Added deployment read and explicit deployment verification.
- Added usage metering.
- Added TEST and LIVE API key environments.
- Added workspace request budgets and hard caps.
- Added signed webhooks with retry, pause, and secret rotation.
- Added key-level audit visibility.

## Compatibility policy
Additive fields and endpoints may be introduced within v1. Clients should ignore unknown JSON fields.

Breaking changes require a new major path such as `/api/v2`.

## Deprecation policy
Zeovoice targets at least 90 days of notice before a supported v1 capability is retired, except when an immediate security response is required. Deprecations will be reflected in the public changelog and customer workspace.

## Authority boundary
The v1 API intentionally excludes unrestricted employee mutation, outbound calls, billing mutation, phone provisioning, and autonomous high-risk actions.
